The year has been both dull and interesting, if that makes any sense. Work is work... same shit different day. I've opened up a lot to Mel over the past few days, something I hope I won't regret having done (that's some weird grammar there). I've pretty much told her everything about my life, something I have not done to anybody else. And even though right now I'll have to say there's nothing serious, at least I have her as a confidante. Maybe the future will bring us together, but at least in the present we aren't apart.
Tomorrow is a graveyard shift, one of those rarities. Then my schedule is going to get weird, some midshifts, some graveyard shifts and even some day shifts thrown in. Just part of my job.
