The Road

It's so hard to travel down the road when there is no door in sight and you don't know exactly where you're going. I have so many choices to make. I could turn around and just stop travelling or I can continue on, but to what end?

The greatest mistake you can make in life is to continually be afraid you will make one.
Elbert Hubbard

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?
Vincent van Gogh

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
Helen Keller

There is only one way to happiness, and that is to cease worrying things which are beyond the power of our will.
Epictetus

The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration.

~ Pearl S. Buck

It is best to love wisely, no doubt;
but to love foolishly is better than
not to be able to love at all.

~William Thackeray

Don't hold to anger, hurt or pain. They steal your energy and keep you from love.

Ever has it been that love knows not its own
depth until the hour of separation.

What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel
that they are joined together to strengthen each other
in all labour, to minister to each other in all sorrow,
to share with each other in all gladness, to be one with
each other in the silent unspoken memories....George Elliot.

Courage means to keep working a relationship,
to continue seeking solutions to difficult
problems, and to stay focused during

There are always risks when you chase after a dream
because growth requires that you leave your comfort
zone and enter unknown territory. But without confronting
those risks and facing your fears, you'll never, as Nike
says, "Just do it." Now the truth is, you may fail in some
of your efforts, but you will never succeed if you are not
willing to risk failure. And even if you do fail, you can
learn from the experience and try again. To do that, you will
need courage, and you will also need to have faith in your
ability to achieve your goals....Stedman Graham.

All of us are confused and ambivalent at times.
We don't know the answer to a problem or we are
faced with conflicting answers. Instead of giving up,
instead of drowning in doubt, soul growth requires
that we forge ahead, that we continue to ask questions
and look for answers -- all the while having faith that
everything is unfolding in the right manner....John Gray
